Jocelyn Tuohy is a Registered Psychologist and the owner of Emmaus Psychology who works with individual adults and couples.

Shelley Petry is a Registered Psychologist who works with individual adults and couples.

Penny Solinger is a Registered Social Worker who works with teens, individual adults and couples.

Lindsay Middaugh is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) who works with children, youth, parents, adults, and couples.

Sharon Ng is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who works with individual adults.

We would like to remind all clients that Emmaus Psychology has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations will result in a full fee session charge.

Important Update to the Jane booking system: There is now a new waitlist feature that will give clients who are on the waitlist the ability to book in a session time when one becomes available. Clients on the waitlist will receive an email and it will be first come first serve to book the session.

Lindsay is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Lindsay has about 14 years of experience supporting adults, children, youth, couples, and families within various environments, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Lindsay uses trauma-informed, person-centered, culturally competent, bio-psycho-social approaches with her clients. Lindsay’s topics of interest include ADHD, social anxiety, dating, relationship-building (romantic, platonic, familial, etc.), emotional dysregulation, and parent-coaching.

Lindsay has experience applying various therapy models with her clients. She has utilized Gottman Level 1, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, and has supported clients with trauma-based strategies.

Penny is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work.

Penny has 12 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and caregivers. With compassion and kindness she is dedicated towards developing a genuine connection with her clients. Penny has a gentle and empathetic approach and strives to ensure her clients feel validated and heard. Penny has is experience in anxiety, trauma, stress, anger, depression, relationship concerns, familial distress, and perinatal mental health concerns.

Penny uses a variety of therapeutic modalities in session including: Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Sharon is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her primary areas of expertise include emotional regulation, stress management, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, life transitions, relationship challenges, and interpersonal trauma. Sharon is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, with a focus on childhood and complex/interpersonal trauma. Her existential approach creates a validating and compassionate environment, where clients are empowered to find meaning in their lives while honoring their autonomy. Balanced by a biopsychosocial framework, Sharon also considers a comprehensive lens of which her clients’ struggles exist.
